Who You Would Be Buying From.

The practice was founded by an engineer who spent fifteen years designing and running connectivity for operations that could not afford to stop. An engineer from the Boothroyd team reads every reseller application.

We spent years being called in after the equipment had been chosen, usually to find the equipment was fine and the thinking around it was not. Saying what a site needs is half the job. The other half is whether anybody will supply it properly once it has been specified.

• Pre-sales questions are answered by an engineer from the Boothroyd team, not a sales desk.
• We carry one line and support it properly, rather than a catalogue we cannot.
• We sell through resellers and never to end users.
• We are small, and we say so. That is why we publish no reply-time target we could not hold.

Advice is contracted on its own terms. Any equipment we supply is declared in writing before the advice, priced on its own, and the client is free to buy it elsewhere. The specification is allowed to conclude that the client needs nothing we sell.

We carry only what we would specify ourselves. A line gets carried when we would put it in a design with no distribution agreement in existence, and not before. SOCA cleared that bar.
